A practical teaching sequence
Start with guide notes students can anchor on (treble G and bass F), then expand line by line. Limit the range for beginners and add ledger lines only after the core staff is secure. Generate a new note-naming worksheet each week so students cannot memorize one fixed sheet.
Differentiate without extra prep
Use the same lesson plan but generate easier worksheets (narrower range, fewer accidentals) for students who need support and wider spans for students ready to move faster.
