Inside the key change
Keep the pattern. Let the harmony travel.
The repeating eighth-note arpeggios tie the progression together. A♭maj7 introduces a borrowed chord from C minor. Near the end, E♭m7 → A♭7 → D♭ forms ii–V–I in D♭ major: a familiar route that helps the new key feel settled.

01
Start slowly
Begin well below the printed tempo. Work on one two-bar chord pattern at a time before joining the patterns together.
02
Hear the arrival
Practise E♭m7 → A♭7 → D♭/F → D♭ on its own. Listen for the moment D♭ starts to feel like home.
03
Connect the whole phrase
Keep the eighth notes even as the chords change. When the notes feel comfortable, try the complete progression.
Make the next key change your own.
